Lots of exciting melodic and rhythmic interplay is showcased in this Ewazen-esque septet by an up-can-coming young composer. Less difficult then most "heavy" pieces, with the range only extending to B-flat easy-to-understand rhythms and styles. Great for teaching listening and playing together. Exciting for the audience as well.
